The access logs of the Web servers record which page calls have taken place at which time. They contain the following data: IP, directory protection user, date, time, pages accessed, protocols, status code, data volume, referrer, user agent, host name accessed.
The IP addresses are stored anonymously. IPv6 addresses are also made anonymous. To do this, the last three digits are removed; ie, 127.0.0.1 becomes 127.0.0.*. The anonymized IP addresses are kept for 60 days. Details of the directory protection user used are anonymized after one day.
Error logs, which log incorrect page views, are deleted after seven days. In addition to the error messages, these contain the accessing IP address and, depending on the error, the called Web pages.
Access via FTP is logged with anonymized information on user name and IP address and stored for 60 days.
The mail logs for sending emails from the Web environment are anonymized after one day and then retained for 60 days. During anonymization, all data concerning the sender/recipient, etc are removed. Only the data at the time of sending, and the information on how the email was processed (queue ID or not sent), remain.
Mail logs for dispatch via our mail servers are deleted after four weeks. The longer retention time is necessary to ensure the functionality of the mail services and to combat spam. An individual definition of the storage period is not possible.
As a customer of AP Design GmbH (our Web hosting service), we can access the tools Webalizer and AWStats, whose purpose and functional range are described in the following. These products are Web analysis services that collect, collate and evaluate data on the behaviour of visitors to Websites. Among other things, a Web analysis service collects data on the Website from which a data subject has accessed a Website (so-called referrer), which pages of the Website have been accessed or how often and for how long a page has been viewed.
The purpose of the use is the evaluation of the use of Websites to improve the offer and the service. The evaluation can be used to find out how the respective Website is used and thus the offer of the Website can be continuously optimized. The user data collected in this way for analysis purposes is made anonymous by technical precautions. Therefore, it is no longer possible to assign the data to the calling user. The data is not stored together with other personal data of the users. These purposes also include the legitimate interest of the Website operator in processing personal data in accordance with DSGVO Article 6(1)(f).
